Welcome!

I’m Amy, the owner of Deer Creek Flowers. My family and I live on a small farm in rural Iowa. Along with growing flowers & kids, we raise livestock, crops and of course some good ole farm fresh eggs. I grew up a “city kid” but after marrying my farmer I soon fell in love with farm life. Summer nights are usually spent outside running around in the dirt and green grass caring for livestock and doing “chores” until sunset.

It only took me a couple of years on the farm before I created my own summer “chore” list. By chore list- I mean, starting seeds, planting flowers, watering flower beds, checking on the flowers, cutting the flowers…. Lol.. and each year I expand a little more. Each summer comes and goes but my love for flowers stays! After years of working with and growing flowers, I decided to share my joy and passion with others by selling fresh cut flower bouquets.

During the summer months I provide subscriptions, farmers market sales and flower bouquet pop-up sales. Deer Creek Flowers has two convenient in town pick up locations. In Sioux City, IA you can find our flower bouquets available for purchase, pre-order or by subscription at Hardline Coffee Co. In Akron, IA we attend the weekly Wednesday evening farmers market at the city park. If you are looking for a morning get-away and short scenic drive we will have some availability for Farm pick up in rural Westfield, IA.
Please kindly note that our farm is not open to the public.
